Sounds very Dr.Seuss doesn't it? Lends to the power of American television that I even know who/what Dr.Seuss is even though I grew up (mainly) in Aus.
So I decided to try out a fancy sounding quiche from Tesco (it had goats cheese!) and to go with it, some handcut chips. I also stupidly decided to shower before cooking said chips and so I spent time flitting in and out of the kitchen so that I didn't stink of chip oil. Unfortunately the chips went from near golden brown to dark brown between flits but I was darned if I was going to waste two potatoes however. I ate them anyway.... with my quiche
Verdict
Quiche: too mushy in the middle for my liking, not a keeper
Chips: just fine and a leetle crunchy!
